24 hours ago, guild wars was going just fine. things were pretty normal. then i logged off.

thats where it changed. first, my password wont work. tried it over again a few times, and made sure it worked. after that, i requested a new password, thinking it must just be a game glitch. well, the new pass didnt work either. emailed anet, and they told me to try and get a new pass again. this time it worked.

well, thinking it had just been a game bug, i switched my pass back, and logged on. all of my items, sparing 2 dwarvens, 2 sephis axes, crafting materials, and some junky items, are gone. my money is all gone as well. my first thought is that i had made someone mad, and been reported for something. emailed anet again, asking if it were a glitch, or if i had ignorantly broken some rule. well, atleast i still had a purple unid dwarven. then, i am kicked off gw, and when i tried to log back on, my pass wont work again. at the time, i had been on the phone with a friend of mine who also plays gw. he said i was still online. that was when i knew somethign was wrong. he whispered me, and the guy responded. after some talking, he pretty much admitted he was a hacker. my friend took screen shots, and we had planned to have it reported, hoping something woudl happen.

well, before i got back on, i got an email from my guild leader stating that they did not support "that sort of thing" and i had been removed from the site. when i was finally able to get on, he says i had been advertising hacks. about this time, savio whispers me and says that i could get in a lot of trouble for advertising hacks. after many whispers, i find that the asshole must have been posting all sort of things about botting programs and hackers, both in game and to my the people on my friends list and guild. oh, and he had taken the purple dwarven as well. well, things got started to get worked out with my guild and friends, and i logged off.

today, i try to log in, only to find that arena net has banned me for a week.

can it get much worse?

well, atleast the hacker was a noob and left a 15 stance, req 8, 10/10 hornbow.

Check this thread first, and see if you downloaded the program mentioned:

Run a full system scan using the provided freeware links, and try to get rid of the keylogger that you most probably have.

The moral of the story is, never download any programs that you aren't absolutely sure are 100% safe, otherwise, you may end up with lost items and, as in your case, a possible ban.

I'd rather this get put into the other thread...but I saw the hacker on your account again last night after you logged off around 2 or 3 am. It's probably why you got banned...I'll be sending mass e-mails. Let me know how I can contact you as ingame won't work right now

"Dude It isnt the hackers fault its your faul" - What you should be prepared to hear from the people of Guild Wars Guru.... So I recomend leaving now... These people are all assholes and whenever anything like this or a scam happens they jsut ponce on the person and saying its there fault.... and then they are liek "post in a blgo or something" So I jsut recomend u leave and ignore the fact that u posted this thread....
